Thursday Tidbits

This week showcases some new pours, winery offerings, and a few important dates, including who’s coming back to town and who is closed for a short break. Also, the Hood River Farmers Market returns this Saturday. Here are the deets:
Ferment Brewing is pouring a coffee beer made with Guji coffee from their friends at Stoked Coffee Roasters down the street. It’s available only on tap.
Grasslands BBQ will be headed back to Hood River on 3/22! Get ready for some tasty BBQ to return to the Hood River Waterfront.
Analemma Wines is opening back up and will debut tapas-style offerings to accompany your wine-tasting experience. Beginning March 1st, visit for tastings and glass pours paired with the house-made provisions. Call at 541-478-2873.
White Salmon Baking Company is closed from 2/26-3/4 and will reopen Wednesday 3/5. They’re taking a break to spruce up and rest up before the busy season hits.
LDT Wines will be slinging meatballs for March Madness this coming Sunday, March 2nd, starting at 5 pm as their “Dinner with Friends” series continues.
Speaking of slinging, local brunch buds, Chef José Ortiz and Lalo Ortega, will be slinging good eats 11 to 2 on Sunday at Working Hands Fermentation. Try a colorful adult beverage like the Empress cocktail or a mimosa to go with Deez Biscuits or Eggs in Purgatory.
Pizza Leona now has Tiramisu. Add one to your online or phone order for $8 a portion, shareable but only if you want to fight over the last bite!
Mountain View Orchard Weddings is now booking its exclusive “Tastings in the Vines” experiences for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. Reach out to learn more about these one-of-a-kind VIP tastings in the heart of Grateful’s Estate Vineyard.
AniChe Cellars Invites you to come by this week to taste new sparkling wines (named after the fairies in a Mid-Summer Night's Dream) and bask in the sunshine. Check out their new hours posted on Instagram.
Tierra de Lobos Winery is celebrating Thirsty Thursday today from 2pm-7pm! $3 off glasses of wine and $2 off plate specials from @mannyslonchera
Hood River Farmers Market is this Saturday, March 1st! Come by to support your local farmers. Need motivation? B’s Sweets is showcasing a beautiful package of Lavender Dark Chocolate Bonbons, and Gorge’s Tortes will have amazing treats as well. Note, there is still time to apply to become a vendor in the market. The vendor application deadline is Friday, 2/28.
Thank you for following along and enjoy the sunshine!
