Winter is a great time for Brunch! Check out all the places you can get brunch on Sundays here in the Gorge:
Double Mountain’s Hood River Taproom will host brunch on Sundays, 10 am to 2 pm, now until the March Anniversary celebration. In addition to the regular pizza menu, they’re adding two special brunch pies and hearty dishes like a Full Irish Breakfast and a Monte Cristo. Look out for rotating specials, salads, and desserts, too!
Working Hands Fermentation in the Heights is rolling out a full Sunday Brunch starting on the 26th of January. The new brunch menu, curated by Chefs Jose Ortiz and Lalo Ortega, features crispy fried Chicken & Waffles served with apple sauce, hot honey and maple syrup, Deez Biscuits with house-made sausage gravy, Eggs in Purgatory and more. Try their Sourdough French Toast, Roasted Potatoes or Whipped Feta on sourdough toast!
Kickstand Coffee and Kitchen on State Street offers brunch every Saturday and Sunday until 1 pm. Try their Liege Waffle with whipped cream, seasonal berries, powdered sugar, and maple syrup. And if you’re a Meadows season pass holder, flash your pass and get 10% off your tab all winter season ❤️!

If you want to go straight to lunch instead, Riverside in the Best Western will serve a new Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad for lunch daily. Charred petite romaine, grilled Mary’s chicken breast, lemon Caesar dressing, shaved Parmesan, focaccia croutons. M-F 11 am-4 pm | S-S Noon-4 pm
Sunshine Mill Winery in The Dalles has added new items to the menu: the Sunshine Salad and Mug of Soup! The soup will rotate weekly—this week, it’s Molli’s Butternut Squash, and next week will feature a creamy Italian sausage and gnocchi. The salad includes house-grown lettuce, local candied hazelnuts, Meyer lemon and honey goat cheese, and local dried cherries, all tossed in a simple vinaigrette.
Camp 1805 down by the waterfront has Smoked Tri Tip French Dip on the menu! Stop by for house-smoked steak, sharp white cheddar, au jus, and chips.
Every Thursday, Grateful Vineyard inside Mountain View Orchards near Parkdale will offer a rotating Buy One Get One Free deal on the Farm as a thank-you to the community. Today, their BOGO deal is to buy any cider flight and receive a complimentary flight of beer, wine, or cider on the house.
