  • Kings & Daughters Brewery has launched the Praying Mantis–a Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout made with vanilla beans. find it online, and it's currently out for delivery in greater Portland. Due to the delicate nature of the beer, it is only offered for Hood River area delivery or local pickup. Use the code LOCALPICKUP.

  • The Pines is having a Library wine sale Dec 20-22. A great gift for those with the most discerning tastes. Rare, delicious, and aged to perfection.  

  • Sometimes, even when it’s cold outside, an iced latte hits the spot. Find them iced or hot at Kaile’a Coffee Co. They are located near the Mt Hood Railroad Depot for the season.

  • Celebrate the winter solstice with Skamania Lodge this Dec 21. Their outdoor celebration kicks off with a spectacular NASA Gorge Skies presentation by Les Hastings, enjoy festive food and drink and listen to music by Sunny Pach. Reservations required.

  • Moby Coffee Roasters can help you with your breakfast catering needs over the holidays. Order ahead to get hand pies and coffee to go.

  • Last chance ordering for the Holidays at these places:

    • Local Rhoots has tamales, lasagnas, cinnamon buns + more on the menu. The Order Deadline is Midnight on 12/19.

    • Put in your holiday order with White Salmon Baking Co. soon! The pick-up date is Monday the 23rd. They will remain closed through the 26th and will open back up on Friday the 27th.

    • Domaine Pouillon is serving the last dinner of the year this Friday! (and will resume dinner service in January). Belgian Endive salad, Duck and Andouille Cassoulet, Citrus Olive Oil Cake with Creme Anglaise.
